Star Trek is so woke that they created transwarp! Transwarp's existence threatens the order that is ciswarp!

Star Trek: Lower Decks Spoilers
Tom Paris, the original "Everything Everywhere All at Once" hipster.
Crying is absolutely, most definitely in my programming.
Tom Paris recovering after being deemed dead and he found out that he now has two hearts makes absolute sense.
Upon traveling through all of time and space, evolved Tom Paris is a Time Lord and gets to meet "The Doctor"!
Ooh, Tom Paris has a part of his head that is visibly throbbing. I wonder if he got a little bit of Talosian in him now.
Can't speak? Paris got your tongue?
Let's do the transwarp again. Let's do the transwarp again.
Too bad Discovery didn't jump to the location where Tom and Captain Janeway had their offsprings to see what happened and how they evolved since.
@qlp Well now I'm mad about that too.( Hi there! This popped up on my feed 'cause I watch the Discovery tag)
@qlp I'd love a crossover episode—but which regeneration?
@shaedrich My heart says the Eighth Doctor, only because I wish we saw more of him on-screen. We've also had a bit too much of the Tenth/Fourteenth Doctor as of late.
Given that Rose wanted some Spock out of the Ninth Doctor (and sort of got that with the Nanites), I think Rose and the Ninth Doctor crossing over to Star Trek DS9 or Voyager would be pretty nice. He could be a little camp enough for TOS or SNW.
@qlp Even though, I love David Tennant (favorite doctor —yeah, I'm that basic
), it's not said for no reason that one should strive to end on a high note.
Rose would probably annoy Janeway Well, she'll also warn the doctor to not overstep their authority
@qlp "This is my ship and my rules, understood? No matter how long you hold that magic paper of yours in my face. And don't you dare manipulate the consoles with your magic screwdriver. We are on a very important mission and I haven't had my coffee today. Go and ask our doctor if you want to start a discussion with me under these circumstances. Oh, and get that girl something to do."
@qlp Rose might ask Tuvok to imitate Spock—depending on his far we are into the series already, he might be used to that kind of stuff by Neelix at that point
@shaedrich I guess I'm kind of basic as well, as David Tennant's Doctors are my favorite. I mean, between being a treat to look at and I cannot overlook the few times he got to use natural Scottish voice.
The Fourth and Ninth Doctors are right behind. I wish we had a little bit some better writing for the Twelfth Doctor, as I liked his slightly darker and sometimes more cynical take on things. Oh, and he kept his Scottish voice ^_^
@qlp Oh, Capaldi is my second favorite. Both he and David Tennant are such great actors. They brought so much to the role. And yeah, Scottish voices
The tenth doctor, to me, is something like the revival era template for the doctor after Tennant refined the role he ha taken over from the ninth doctor after only one season.
